Itinerary — Lemosho Route 7 Days Kilimanjaro Budget:

Day 1: Arrival in Moshi & Transfer to Lemosho Gate

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be greeted by your Olduvai Tours Tan Africa guide and transferred to Moshi for your overnight stay. Early the next morning, you’ll be driven to the Lemosho Gate, where your adventure begins.

The Lemosho Route starts at the western side of Kilimanjaro, passing through lush rainforests. The gradual ascent is designed to ensure proper acclimatization as you begin your trek. Your guide will offer insightful information about the flora and fauna you’ll encounter along the way.

After a few hours of trekking, you’ll reach your first campsite at Mti Mkubwa, where you can enjoy a hearty dinner and relax for the night.


Day 2: Mti Mkubwa to Shira Camp

Day 6: Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak & Descent to Mweka Camp

Day 7: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate & Return to Moshi
